Chorus sings at Hampden House, 19th December 2018

The Chorus made the short trip to Hampden House on Duchy Road in Harrogate to perform a Christmas Concert for the residents (and staff). The repertoire was a mixture of traditional barbershop arrangements of old favourites, plus some Christmas songs and a singalong section from the MisSpent Yukes.

The feedback was excellent as illustrated by the email we received immediately afterwards from the social organiser at Hampden House (see below).

Thank you also to Eva Jane for a couple of photos from the event.

Hello Gareth (and Gang!)
Thank you so much for your efforts this afternoon, all the residents thoroughly enjoyed your concert. It really was a delight to hear you all sing.
We have various ‘entertainers’ visit us at the home and rarely have I heard such all round enthusiasm following an event. They are a tough audience to ‘crack’! So well done…
As I said my colleague has only recently left the position so I am a little ‘snowed under’ this next week or two, but will definitely be in touch in the new year to book you in again as discussed.
Please pass on my grateful thanks to your companions and I look forward to welcoming you all back to Hampden House in the new year.
Kind regards.
