The chorus provided the evening entertainment for the ladies of the Harrogate Sweethearts Women's Institute meeting held on November 8th. The chorus performed 2 sets of barbershop chorus songs, plus an interlude for the Mispent Yukes, an entertaining monologue from Harold Blackburn, and a song from the Elderly Brothers - Harrogate Harmony's own barbershop quartet. All was expertly compered by Gareth with his usual entertaining style, including an introduction to 4-part harmony singing at the start of the quartet performance.

The evening was very well-received and the letter below was received from organiser Sam Pugmire immediately after the event.

What a fantastic night Gareth, we were expecting the singing and we were not disappointed, but the overall show including all the extra parts, Harold’s monologue, the Ukes and the deconstruction of the quartet - not to mention the ongoing stand-up and your fantastic comparing - it was a brilliant night and I speak on behalf of the whole group as I pass on our utmost thanks.

We'll do as much social media follow as possible and link in to point everyone to the website. Please also feel free to keep us on any mailing list for future concerts, or any way that Spa Sweethearts WI could support your group.

Thanks again and hope you and all the gents also had a fun night!
