The chorus appointed a new Musical Director, Andy Salter, in January 2026. The previous MD, Les Whitworth, has moved away from the area and we wish him every success with his new chorus. Andy has already has made a great improvement to the singing of the chorus as well as the enjoyment experience for all chorus members. His attention to detail has reaped great benefits for the chorus.Andy is also Musical Director for the Spirit of Harmony barbershop chorus, an award-winning chorus based in Wetherby.
On the occasions when Andy is unavailable, a long-serving member with vast experience of barbershop singing takes the role. We are most grateful to Keith Barker who continues to give his time and expertise freely for the benefit of the chorus.
